far and wide, his travels have taken him.breathtaking sights. perilous journeys. untold secrets. duels to the death. bonds to last a lifetime.everything he's experienced and obtained over the past year coalesced to form knowledge. knowledge that will be undoubtedly become essential for the future he envisioned. but an inescapable fact remained, protruding from his side like a persistent thorn. it wasn't enough. not nearly enough. this insatiable lust he possessed for the unknown must be sated, and so it would be. for now, however, the foundation needed to be set. hence, the abrupt emergence of various gates, filled with nothing but pure darkness, across the various stars of the great beyond.two gates appeared before two separate individuals from every star, chosen at what seemed to be complete random, before revealing what lied within the dark. wearing a white suit and a matching fedora, accompanied by a black coat which loosely hung and trailed from their shoulders, a living shadow would greet the chosen with a curt nod. then, after nonchalantly handing over a black envelope with a particular insignia as its seal, they left as quickly as they came.

inside the envelope would be a formal invitation to a tournament of sorts. one that always drew the attention of the masses. yes, it was for your average multiversal tournament of power. if you're not here for that, you can stop reading while you're ahead.however...there was a caveat. at the bottom of the invitation were three lines meant for three signatures, each requiring the blood of those willing to put their life on the line. if and only when these conditions were met, the invitation would vanish and in its stead would be the arrival of another gate for their taking.

RULES

✧ as you've already surmised, hopefully, this will be a team-based tournament with each team consisting of three members from the same verse. for diversity reasons, there will a maximum of three teams allowed from each respective verse.✧ ocs are allowed to form their own teams.✧ in order to be accepted, you must send me the list of usernames that your team comprises of in dms, including your own, and a team name. be creative, and don't just slap on the name of your verse. please.✧ after you've been personally approved, you will be required to write a thread with your team on how they came together, signed up for the tournament, and entered the gate. It doesn't have to be long, but establishing a narrative for your own characters is highly encouraged.✧ each round will last for five days, unless stated otherwise, and revolve around the north american eastern time zone.✧ judging will be based on entertainment, strategy, and the overall opinions of the panel. in no way, shape, or form are we claiming to be the absolute truth. please do not take any decisions to heart.✧ lethal force is allowed.✧ no godmodding.✧ no minors.✧ no mv ramen shop guy.✧ no bov, don't ask.✧ no waiting until the very last minute of the round to make your last reply.
